Female Stars of Tomorrow Supports Young Musicians for 8 Years
TSKB has long supported social and cultural development through education and arts and continues to reach out to children and young people through projects focusing on social good. In 2018, the Bank launched the Female Stars of Tomorrow: Young Female Musicians Education Support Fund project in cooperation with İKSV to support equal opportunities in the arts and has since funded 120 musicians. During the Female Stars of Tomorrow concert as part of the 53rd Istanbul Music Festival, young musicians rendered the first performance of TSKB 75th Year Composition by Ceren Türkmenoğlu.
13 gifted young artists benefiting the Female Stars of Tomorrow: Young Female Musicians Education Support Fund, a collaboration by TSKB (Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye) and İKSV, performed for music fans during the Female Stars of Tomorrow concert organized as part of the 53rd Istanbul Music Festival.
The concert was held at Süreyya Opera House in Kadıköy on June 21 and marked the world premiere of ‘Circle’, an exclusive musical piece commissioned by TSKB to celebrate its 75th anniversary and subsequently composed by artist Ceren Türkmenoğlu.
TSKB CEO Murat Bilgiç: "It was exciting for us to hear the special composition for TSKB’s 75th year performed by the Female Stars of Tomorrow for the first time."
TSKB CEO Murat Bilgiç emphasized that as Türkiye's first private equity development and investment bank, TSKB works to create comprehensive lasting value for Türkiye's multifaceted development. "At TSKB, we have been supporting concerts under the Istanbul Music Festival since 1990. We launched the Female Stars of Tomorrow Education Support Fund in 2018 in collaboration with İKSV, and we are delighted to have touched the lives of 120 young female musicians so far through this fund. In this special year marking the 75th anniversary of our Bank, we wanted to encourage artistic production and thus commissioned a special work by Ceren Türkmenoğlu, a violinist, versatile instrumentalist and composer who blends the cultural roots of Turkish music and of classical music with influences from the world music. It was exciting for us to hear the special composition for TSKB’s 75th year performed by the Female Stars of Tomorrow for the first time. I wholeheartedly congratulate our young musicians who made us proud with their successful performances during the 53rd İstanbul Music Festival and wish them further success.”
