New Brand from TSKB With a Focus on Diversity and Inclusiveness: Yellow Line
TSKB has united its comprehensive activities, which have been carried out for many years with a focus on inclusiveness and equal opportunities to support social and cultural development, under a single umbrella brand called Sarı Çizgi (Yellow Line). The Bank aims to strengthen the ties between people, nature, society and culture with its long-term projects ranging from education to arts, gender equality to accessibility, which will be carried out under the Yellow Line brand, which is implemented with a multi-faceted development approach.
With 75 years of history, TSKB (Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye), Türkiye's first privately-owned development and investment bank, has restructured its activities with a focus on inclusiveness and equal opportunities within a strategic integrity and created the Yellow Line brand. The Yellow Line aims to build a more equitable and sustainable future for all with the goal of inclusive development.
TSKB CEO Ozan Uyar made the following remarks about the Yellow Line: "At TSKB, we consider development as a multidimensional journey of progress that goes beyond financial goals and achievements and enables every individual to achieve their potential. With the Yellow Line, we are transforming all our social benefit-oriented activities that we have been conducting in various fields for many years into a more systematic and measurable impact model. Our aim is to overcome the barriers to equal opportunities together and to make the value created by development more accessible to various segments of the society."
For TSKB, the Yellow Line represents a line of awareness drawn against all forms of discrimination, an approach that brings together rather than differentiates, that considers differences as richness, and that considers equity in diversity as the starting point of development. The Bank considers social benefit in terms of permanent, measurable and generalizable contributions. The Yellow Line positions itself as the common name of this approach.
The activities carried out under the umbrella of the Yellow Line cover a wide range of impact areas extending to various segments of the society, especially children and young people. The Bank aims to ensure that children and young people have equal access to information, development opportunities and production areas through many projects such as kindergarten classes supporting access to quality education from pre-school to university, special scholarship funds, sustainability-oriented youth programs, enriched school libraries implemented after the earthquake, creative education projects, and contemporary artwork competitions.
Programs that contribute to women's equal representation in all areas from education to business life, from culture and arts to decision-making processes support empowerment, visibility and access to opportunities. In-house awareness and certification programs aim to permanently embed an egalitarian approach not only in social projects, but also in corporate culture and the business world.
Under the Yellow Line, equal participation of individuals with different needs in information, education, culture and labor life is supported through activities carried out in the field of accessibility.
