Startups Named to Participate in the TSKB Co-Venture Program, a Collaboration Between TSKB and GİRVAK
The startups to participate in the TSKB Co-Venture program, which was launched in 2025 as a collaboration by and between TSKB and GİRVAK, have been named. 15 teams are selected among innovative startups in strategic development areas ranging from climate crisis to healthcare, sustainable agriculture to education and disaster technologies. The selected teams are inducted into a development process focusing on knowledge, experience and cooperation under guidance by TSKB and GİRVAK.
The first great meeting for startups under the TSKB Co-Venture program, which combines TSKB's (Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye) multidimensional development vision with the entrepreneurial ecosystem, was held on 28 January. Almost 300 applications were filed for the TSKB Co-Venture program, a collaboration with the Turkish Entrepreneurship Foundation (GİRVAK), which operates to eliminate barriers to entrepreneurship and to create a common ground for startups. To serve the principle of equal opportunities, the program prioritizes female entrepreneurs as well as teams from regions affected by the 6 February earthquakes and welcomes innovative ideas focusing on climate, sustainable agriculture, healthcare, education and disaster technologies.
The 15 entrepreneurial teams selected from among the applicants started a long-term journey in which they will benefit from TSKB's extensive stakeholder network and deep sectoral expertise. The program's first module will start with entrepreneurial teams at the pre-seed stage. The program is then expected to assume a more diversified structure when the startups in growth and expansion stages join in April 2026.
TSKB CEO Ozan Uyar, highlighted the strategic importance of the program: "We are extremely excited and happy to offer TSKB's extensive know-how and sectoral experience of more than 75 years to entrepreneurs who will shape the sustainable future of our country. Through TSKB Co-Venture, we aim to provide not only a source of financing for entrepreneurs, but also strategic guidance that will transform innovative ideas into permanent and strong entities. I sincerely congratulate our young entrepreneurs and believe that they will play a crucial role in Türkiye's sustainable development journey."
GİRVAK General Manager Mehru Öztürk, also commented on the collaboration. "The way to build effective startups for the future is through long-term and strategic partnerships. This venture builder model we have launched with TSKB blends the potential of our young people to create impact with qualified guidance and a strong ecosystem support. I hope the 15 teams joining us today will deliver value-added projects that will leave a mark in Türkiye's entrepreneurial memory."
