On its 75th anniversary, TSKB (Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye) sustains its social benefit projects contributing to equal opportunities in education. Launching the ‘11 Libraries in 11 Provinces’ project and establishing enriched libraries in schools around cities affected by the February 6 earthquakes, TSKB fulfilled its commitment when it opened yet another library at Karşıyaka Secondary School in Elazığ to mark the 75th anniversary of its foundation, registering a total of 11 libraries in 2 years. Expanding its education support to preschool education, the Bank provided kindergarten classrooms in Kilis, Malatya and Elazığ as part of the ‘TSKB 75th Year Kindergarten’ project.

Acting on a vision of multidimensional development for a sustainable future, TSKB (Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye) continues to extend its support through social responsibility projects that make lasting education contributions in 2025, when it celebrates its 75th anniversary. In September 2023, TSKB launched the ‘11 Libraries in 11 Provinces’ project in disaster-affected regions following the February 6 earthquakes. The Bank opened its 11th library under this project at Karşıyaka Secondary School in Elazığ.

Supporting quality education by establishing enriched libraries in schools, the Bank extended its support for the healthy development of children to kindergarten classes, the basic stage of education, in 2025, when it celebrates its 75th anniversary. With its recent project ‘TSKB 75th Year Kindergarten’, the Bank has taken action to strengthen preschool education in cities in need.

TSKB CEO Murat Bilgiç commented on the Bank’s support to education in Elazığ during the opening of the 11th library and kindergarten classroom. "At TSKB, we strongly believe in the importance of education for a sustainable future as part of our vision for multidimensional development. We pull out all the stops to contribute to every step of the education pyramid. To attain this goal, we carry out four major education projects that prioritize social benefit. Immediately after the earthquakes of February 6, we launched the '11 Libraries in 11 Provinces' project, which aims to strengthen the educational infrastructure in disaster-affected cities. As part of this project, we commissioned our 11th library for our children at Karşıyaka Secondary School in Elazığ. We are delighted to have delivered almost 50,000 books as well as various mind games and educational tools and equipment to over 7,000 students through the libraries we have opened so far. Under the ‘TSKB 75th Year Kindergarten’ project, which we launched in February to support preschool education, which is the most important period in shaping the children's personalities in terms of physical, social, emotional and cognitive development, we have so far established kindergarten classrooms in Kilis, Malatya and Elazığ. In addition to our ‘11 Libraries in 11 Provinces’ and ‘TSKB 75th Year Kindergarten’ projects, we continue to support various aspects of education. We deliver our vision of social equality and sustainable development through concrete steps in our long-term projects such as the Woman Stars of Tomorrow: Young Female Musicians Education Support Fund, where we support young female musicians internationally in cooperation with İKSV, and the Empower Through Education Scholarship Fund, through which we contribute to the education of female students in cooperation with TEV. We aim to raise generations that will contribute to the qualified development of our country in every field by continuing to spread equal opportunities in education as much as possible through these projects."

TSKB supports education infrastructure in the earthquake-affected region

In 2023, TSKB contributed to the strengthening of the education infrastructure in the region through the ‘11 Libraries in 11 Provinces’ project, which was initiated to support quality education in the aftermath of the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes. As part of the project that started in September 2023 in Adıyaman’s Gölbaşı district, the ‘TSKB Centennial of the Republic Libraries’ were launched in a total of 11 schools in Gaziantep, Kahramanmaraş, Adana, Osmaniye, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya and, last but not least, in Karşıyaka Secondary School in Elazığ.
