TSKB Provides USD 45 Million in Financing to Ova Enerji for its Storage-Based WPP Investment
TSKB has provided an investment loan of USD 45 million for Çayırlar Storage-Based Wind Power Plant (SWPP) project to be launched in Bergama, Izmir by Ova Enerji, a group company of Erdem Holding. Türkiye’s grid infrastructure will be boosted through this investment offering a wind and storage solution aimed at supporting our country’s clean energy transformation.
Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye (TSKB) has provided USD 45 million in financing for Çayırlar Storage-Based Wind Power Plant (SWPP) investment under an agreement signed with Ova Enerji, a group company of Erdem Holding. The project, with a total installed capacity of 43.5 MW, will offer a robust and movable renewable energy supply to the Turkish grid thanks to its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS).
Integrating advanced wind energy storage technologies, this project aims to directly impact Türkiye's carbon reduction targets, as well as increasing grid stability and capacity factor.
