Poyraz Koğacıoğlu

Poyraz Koğacıoğlu received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Middle East Technical University (METU) and his master's degree in business administration (MBA) from Koç University. During his MBA education, Koğacıoğlu joined the Bocconi University exchange program with an investment banking focus. Having worked as a research assistant at Koç University between 2002 and 2004, Koğacıoğlu continued his career as an Equity Research Analyst at Oyak Investment from 2005 for more than a year and worked as an analyst in two boutique M&A houses until 2007, when he joined the corporate finance team at Ak Investment. Koğacıoğlu next was transferred to the corporate finance team at Garanti Securities as a director in M&A and IPOs from 2012 to 2019. Poyraz Koğacıoğlu then assumed office as the Managing Director at TSKB Investment Banking in May 2019. In May 2022, Poyraz Koğacıoğlu was appointed as Executive Vice President in charge of Investment Banking Advisory and Private Equity Fund Management at TSKB. Throughout his 21 years of experience, Koğacıoğlu has advised more than 100 transactions in M&A, equity and debt capital markets with a total size exceeding USD 8 bn.
