Initiatives We Are A Member Of

At TSKB, we believe in the importance of cooperation, creating common value and sharing experience in the field of sustainability. We expand our sphere of influence and knowledge by playing an active role in national and international initiatives.

National and international initiatives which TSKB works in cooperation with in the field of sustainability:

• We were the first Turkish bank to become a member of UNEP FI.
• We have been participating in the Carbon Disclosure Project from the year the project was initiated.
• We were one of the first two financial institutions in Türkiye to sign the Water Disclosure Project.
• As the first Turkish development bank to become a member of the United Nations "Global Compact", we play an active role in various working groups.
• We are an organizational member of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
• We chair the Role of the Finance Sector in Sustainable Growth Working Group of the Banks Association of Türkiye.
• We are on the board of the Business World and Sustainable Development Association (SKD) and co-chair the Women's Employment and Equal Opportunity working group.
• We are a member of the Long-Term Investors Club (LTIC).
• We are a member of Task Force on Climate Related Financial Disclosures.
• We are a member of Impact Investing Advisory Board (EYDK).
• We are a member of Turkish Investor Relations Society (TUYID).
• As a member of the International Development Finance Club (IDFC), we chair the Gender Equality Working Group.
• We are a member of the Board of Directors of the Corporate Governance Association of Türkiye (TKYD).
• We are a member of the Executive Board of the Integrated Reporting Türkiye Network (ERTA).
• We take part in many working groups within the Turkish Industrialists' and Businessmen's Association (TUSIAD).
• We are one of the founding members of IKSV.
• We are a member of the Chapter Zero Türkiye Advisory Board.
