Euromoney's Best Bank for Sustainable Finance Award Goes to TSKB
TSKB was named the Best Bank for "Sustainable Finance" category in Central & Eastern Europe at the “Awards for Excellence” organized by Euromoney Magazine, one of the world's most recognized and leading publications on international finance.
Continuing to make an indelible impression on global platforms with its sustainable and inclusive work, the Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB) was rewarded with an important award at the "Awards for Excellence" organized every year by Euromoney Magazine. TSKB was granted as the “Best Bank for Sustainable Finance" in Central & Eastern Europe.
Organized by Euromoney, one of the leading finance institutions and prestigious publication groups of the world, with nearly 30 years of experience the global banking sector, Euromoney Awards for Excellence were handed to their esteemed owners across the world. TSKB was rewarded with the "Best Bank for Sustainable Finance" award in Central & Eastern Europe thanks to its sustainable borrowing and lending activities, Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG)-linked finance products and its SDG impact assessment tool.
The statement from Euromoney indicates that TSKB was considered worthy of this award due to its robust performance in sustainable finance as a lender for over 30 years as well as its key role in the development of the green and sustainable bond market in Turkey, achievements in sustainability reporting and most recently with the introduction of the first SDG impact assessment by a CEE financial institution.
