Özcan Türkakın is appointed as the new CEO of TSKB

Özcan Türkakın has been appointed as the CEO of TSKB (Industrial Development Bank of Turkey), Turkey's first private development and investment bank. Özcan Türkakın will take over the position on February 1, 2013 following the retirement of Fevzi Onat and will continue as 8th CEO of TSKB.

In the statement made by the Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB) to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) on January 31, 2013, it's been stated that: "H. Fevzi Onat, the Board Member and CEO of our Bank, has quitted his position as Board Member and CEO of our Bank as of 31.01.2013 due to his retirement. Mr. Özcan Türkakın has been appointed for the position pursuant to Article 363 of Turkish Trade Law. It's been projected to appoint Mr. Özcan Türkakın, who is elected for Board Membership, as the CEO of our Bank and he will take up the CEO position when the legal procedure set out in the Banking Law is completed."

About "Özcan Türkakın"

Born in 1958 in Afyonkarahisar, Özcan Türkakın has graduated from Boğaziçi University Faculty of Administrative Sciences Department of Economics and received his master's degree from the same Department. Türkakın has started working for İş Bankası Economical Researches and Planning Directorate in 1984 as Assistant Economics Expert, appointed as the Deputy Manager for Capital Markets Department in 1992 and became the Department Manager in 1995.

Türkakın was appointed as CEO for İş Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. in 1997 and worked as Türkiye İş Bankası Executive Vice President after 2002 and as Board Chairman of İş Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. since 2004.
