"We offer a holistic perspective to our stakeholders in our integrated annual reports"
Stressing that they were glad to represent Turkey and receive the award by making it to the finals along with the distinguished finance institutions of the Asian geography, TSKB CEO Ece Börü said: "Sustainability forms the basis of our banking model and corporate culture and we aim to ensure continuous improvement in this area. We published the first sustainability report in the Turkish financial sector in 2009.
Conveying to our stakeholders our financial aspects as well as environmental, social and governance strategy, impact and goals, our sustainability reports turned into integrated reporting in 2016. Over time, these reports have become an important communication tool. We are proud that our integrated report takes its place among the worldwide sample reports with its content that is transparent, simple and complies with internationally-accepted standards. We now know very well that financial results cannot be the only measure of success for institutions. For this reason, we focus on economic, social and environmental added value created with all capitals. Our integrated reports encompass our strategy, governance and performance in these areas as well as our future expectations, commitments and goals. In this way, we provide our stakeholders with the positive impact we aim to create with our products, services and resources by evaluating it in a holistic way and on the basis of the capital."
Delivering a speech during the awards ceremony, Rajesh Chhabara, Managing Director of CSRWorks International and the Founder of ASRA, said that TSKB showed exceptional leadership in transparent reporting of its sustainability performance and reflected its readiness for a resilient future through the reporting work for which it was rewarded.
