TSKB has won the “Islamic Finance Deal of the Year in Europe” Award rewarded by The Banker

TSKB was awarded the first prize in The Banker Magazine's "Islamic Finance Deal of the Year in Europe" category with the issuance of a Sustainable Lease Certificate (Sukuk) worth 50 million TL completed under the 450 million TL Sukuk Issuance Program it created on behalf of Zorlu Energy.

Making its mark through its innovative sustainability projects introduced in the finance sector, the Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB) adds another one to its awards rewarded by global platforms. TSKB was awarded The Banker Magazine's "Islamic Finance Deal of the Year in Europe" prize with the issuance of a Sustainable Lease Certificate on behalf of Zorlu Energy.

This transaction going beyond the renewable energy-related goals in the few Green Sukuk issuances of the past as it covers goals such as sustainable utilities and clean transport within a framework compatible with the 4 basic standards of the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) breaks a new ground both in Turkey and across the world.

TSKB has certified its achievements in bringing together the capital market transactions and the principles of sustainability through this award rewarded under the "Deals of the Year" awards program through which The Banker, a reputable institution of the finance sector, evaluates the finance institution and transactions around the world.
