Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB) has obtained a 20 million Euro loan from Oesterreichische Entwicklungsbank (OeEB), the Development Bank of Austria. Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB) has obtained a €20-million loan from Oesterreichische Entwicklungsbank (OeEB), the Development Bank of Austria, for the financing of renewable energy and energy efficiency investments across Turkey. The agreement for the 12-year loan is also the first agreement signed between TSKB and OeEB.

"The total amount of loans secured by TSKB to finance renewable energy and energy efficiency projects was nearly EUR 570 million in 2014. TSKB will continue to provide funds in this area for the following years. This loan extended by OeEB for the first time and without State Guarantee was a strong indicator of the trust in TSKB in the international arena." says Orhan Beşkök, Senior Executive Vice President of Industrial Development Bank of Turkey

"Energy is one of the key factors for economic development and the reduction of poverty. OeEB therefore supports the production of renewable energy and the efficient use of energy and resources. TSKB is an ideal partner for promoting these key areas in Turkey," says Andrea Hagmann, member of the Executive Board of OeEB.
