TSKB Organizes 11th Career Workshop
TSKB hosted its 11th annual TSKB Career Workshop, the first and only event in the field of development and investment banking recruitment. TSKB Executive Vice President Özlem Bağdatlı says, “For 11 consecutive years, we have been fostering connections with young talents and exchanging intergenerational insights at the traditional TSKB Career Workshop. TSKB (Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye), renowned for its sustainable banking approach, remains steadfast in its tradition of nurturing young talent through the TSKB Career Workshop, now in its 11th year. A total of 42 students, comprising fourth-year students from various departments such as business administration, economics, and industrial engineering at universities offering education in foreign languages, as well as graduate students in the same fields, were granted the opportunity to participate in this year’s TSKB Career Workshop, held on April 27.
During the workshop themed “Show Your Difference”, students had the opportunity to be informed by TSKB’s seasoned teams of experts about the sustainable banking model, financing development investments, as well as investment banking and advisory practices. Through TSKB’s online training and development platform “Be a Partner with the Future”, TSKB coaches accompanied the young people throughout the workshop, who also participated in trainings such as “Techniques for Preparing Effective Presentations”, “Finance for Non-Experts” and “Efficient Communication”. All coaches received competency assessment training to objectively evaluate participants who are candidates to join the TSKB team in the future.
The presentations prepared by students, utilizing financial analysis tools and sector-specific insights, underwent evaluation by a distinguished jury comprising TSKB executives. The most outstanding group was honored with prizes. At the conclusion of the workshop, which also hosted numerous captivating activities aimed at familiarizing young individuals with teamwork and the professional life at TSKB, the ultimate aim is for new talents to commence their careers at TSKB at the earliest opportunity.

We meticulously curate the content of our workshop, selecting from a pool of numerous applicants, aligning it with the strategic objectives of our Bank to meet the Management Trainee (MT) needs in the specific business lines we aim to groom for the future within our organization. Thanks to these workshops, to date, more than 400 students have had the opportunity to learn about development and investment banking, and in the process, we have welcomed numerous talented individuals as valued colleagues. Today, 20 percent of TSKB’s banking staff comprises individuals who embarked on their journey with us through the TSKB Career Workshop.”
