14 highly talented young female musicians, who were eligible to benefit from the fund in the second year of the “Women Stars of Tomorrow: Young Women Musicians Support Fund”, which was implemented in cooperation with TSKB within the scope of İKSV-Istanbul Music Festival, were identified. The General Manager of TSKB, Mr. Suat İnce, pointed out that TSKB had taken responsibility for increasing the employment of women in all sectors stating, “we believe that equality of opportunity for women to participate in economic, social and cultural life is a prerequisite for social progress. While there has been a significant increase in the ratio of women working in the companies for which we provide support, we have also raised our contribution in this field through our social responsibility projects. With this perspective, we support our young women musicians in representing our country in the national and international field of culture and the arts with the “Women Stars of Tomorrow” Education Support Fund, which we implemented within the scope of the Istanbul Music Festival.

14 highly talented young female musicians will receive supported for their careers in the international arena to progress in the branches of instrumental, singing and conducting in the second year of the Tomorrow’s Women Stars: Young Women Musicians Support Fund, which was implemented in cooperation with TSKB within the scope of İKSV-Istanbul Music Festival. In addition, the selected musicians will go on stage before an audience at the “Women Stars of Tomorrow”concert on Tuesday, 25 June at the Boğaziçi University Albert Long Hall, where Ayla Erduran, violinist, will perform on stage as an opinion leader and as a guest performer.

Supporting the Istanbul Music Festival since 1990, TSKB has been providing this support with the theme of empowering women in the social and cultural fields for the last two years. In the project, in which TSKB has been taking part as the Education Support Fund Sponsor, revenue generated from concert ticket sales is also transferred to the fund. The project aims to open up new horizons for young women musicians in the international arena.

“We are also taking responsibility to increase women's employment in all sectors.”

The General Manager of TSKB, Mr. Suat İnce, stated that as a bank, TSKB was supporting Turkey’s development goals with the work it carried out on the basis of sustainability and inclusion. He said, “We believe that equality of opportunity for women to participate in economic, social and cultural life is a prerequisite of social progress. As a bank where the ratio of women in total employees exceeds 50% at all levels, we take responsibility to increase female employment in all sectors in which we cooperate.”

“Every woman participating in production transforms her environment in a positive way.”

Providing some information about TSKB's work in the field of women's employment, Mr. İnce continued: “TSKB support the women-friendly economy with our financial support and consultancy services which we offer to the private sector with the theme of equality of opportunity. While the ratio of women working in the companies we provide support to has increased significantly, we also strive to maintain our own credentials as a women-friendly company. We want to change the lives of more women by multiplying our contribution in this area through our social responsibility projects – because every woman participating in production transforms her environment in a positive way. Within this scope, we contribute to efforts to help girls at university gain a better education and step into the business life with the “from-Education to Production” Scholarship Fund, which we implement with TEV (Turkish Education Foundation). Again with this perspective, we have helped our young women musicians represent our country in the national and international field of culture and the arts with the “Tomorrow’s Female Stars” Education Support Fund, which we implemented within the scope of the Istanbul Music Festival.

“Each of the “Women Stars of Tomorrow” is an art ambassador for our country.”

Stating that TSKB supported these young talented individuals in becoming art ambassadors of Turkey with the “Women Stars of Tomorrow” Education Support Fund, Mr. İnce continued: “Now in the second year of the project, TSKB stands by our young female musicians on their educational journeys that demand great financial and moral effort. Our young people have won first places in the major competitions they have participated in and in which they have achieved great success. They give concerts in some of the world’s important concert halls. We are also delighted to note that our support goes to the right place, and contributes to the recognition of our young musicians on the international stage.

The Education Support Fund is open to all art lovers.

Also in the second year of the Tomorrow’s Women Stars, in which TSKB participated as the Sponsor of the Education Support Fund, a large number of domestic and international applications were made.
