Having broken new grounds in sustainability many times before, TSKB emerged as the first bank to issue an Integrated Report, also known as the next generation of reporting, in the Turkish finance industry. In its integrated report published on the basis of 2016 results, TSKB offers to its shareholders a holistic evaluation of its operations, funds and resources, products and services as well as the added value it has created and plans to create. Stating that the report focuses on the sustainable value TSKB created for the economy and the society through its business model, Suat İnce, TSKB CEO, said, "Integrated reporting will be a part of everyday life at any company in the near future and thus become a standard. Issuing our first integrated report, we are proud to be ready for the future in advance today, when financial institutions assume a transformative role in sustainable development."

Breaking a new ground in sustainable banking, TSKB offered in its integrated report the 2016 operational results to its stakeholders. "TSKB Integrated Report" is the first of its kind in the Turkish finance industry and is prepared under the consultancy of ESCARUS, the Bank's affiliate, and the guidance of Prof. Güler Aras, President of Integrated Reporting Network of Turkey.

Also known as the next generation of reporting, integrated reporting presents the entire picture through the information it provides on the medium- and long-term road map in the light of an organization's "business model", "strategy" and "goals".

In an integrated report, the funds that organizations use and the stakeholders they influence are analyzed over six different capitals, namely financial, human, intellectual, manufactured, natural and social capitals, and the resulting corporate and social values are focused on.

The Integrated Report adopts a transparent, simple and concise language and provides information on an organization's strategy, management, performance and future expectations to offer insights into not only the present situation of the organization but also the way it wants to follow in the future.

TSKB exhibits the 'Value Creation Model' in the first integrated report of finance industry

The report analyzes TSKB's capitals under six categories, namely financial, human, natural, intellectual, manufactured and social capital. It includes various key performance indicators such as financial results, diversity of funds, sectoral expertise, tailored products and services, sustainability loans, zero carbon banking, qualified human resources, equal opportunities, social responsibility projects and experience exchange.

In TSKB's 'Value Creation Model', economic, social and environmental added value created through all capitals are focused on in the belief that financial results are not the only criterion for the success of an organization. In the 'Value Creation Model', a myriad of qualities differentiating the Bank such as the ability to create value from information, independent and multilateral assessment, and environmental and social impact assessment in the lending process are elaborated on.

TSKB Integrated Report for 2016 is available in digital on the Bank's corporate web site www.tskb.com.tr.

Suat İnce: “We are proud to be ready for the future in advance today”

Suat İnce, TSKB CEO, provided information on TSKB's first integrated report. "In this Integrated Report, we aimed to delve into the present day and future of our Bank and efficiently offer our corporate performance results to our stakeholders. We focused on the value we created for the economy and the society through our capitals that cover our financial structure, intellectual know-how, qualified workforce and deep-rooted business partnerships. Integrated reporting will be a part of everyday life at any company in the near future and thus become a standard. Issuing our first integrated report, we are proud to be ready for the future in advance today, when financial institutions assume a transformative role in sustainable development."

"We issued a report that breathes and describes the present day with a future perspective"

Underlining the fact that TSKB's integrated report was the first in the Turkish finance industry, Suat İnce said, "Integrated reporting developed as a natural extension of our Bank's sustainability operations. We are the first organization to launch sustainability reporting in the Turkish finance industry. The integrated report introduces an approach that is beyond sustainability reporting. We considered this process as an opportunity to analyze stakeholder expectations and re-interpret our priorities. We received the contribution of all employees to exhibit our value creation model. We wanted this report to be a report that breathes, describes the present day with a future perspective and provides information on how we can attain our objectives."
