Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye (TSKB) publishes first Integrated Annual Report

TSKB shared all of its activities pertaining to the year 2018 in its Integrated Annual Report. The Bank published an integrated annual report for the first time this year and shared the value which it has generated within the scope of its capital elements, its plans and its goals for the future.

TSKB shared the current output of its 2018 activities, its plans for the future and its goals in its Integrated Annual Report, which was published for the first time this year. The TSKB Integrated Annual Report was prepared within the scope of the framework proposed by the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC). The comprehensive stakeholder analysis study carried out by the TSKB Sustainability Consultancy - Escarus - shaped the content of the report.

The environment in which TSKB operates, its strategy, the value generated in interaction with the six capital elements defined by the IIRC, priority issues, risks and opportunities affecting the Bank and its stakeholders, the Bank's activities and performance in 2018, its expectations and goals for the future, its corporate governance structure and its approach to risk management were covered in detail in the TSKB 2018 Integrated Annual Report. The financial data included in the report was audited by Güney Independent Audit and SMMM A.Ş. (EY). Non-financial information was also subjected to a limited assurance audit by EY. In addition, TSKB provided details concerning the audit which it underwent under the ISO 14001 certificate for the Sustainable Management System and under the ISO 14064 certificate for the calculation and verification of greenhouse gas emissions arising from operational activities.

The report is in accordance with the International Integrated Reporting Framework proposed by the IIRC and was prepared in line with the core option of the GRI G4 Reporting Guidelines published by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI). The content of the report was compiled according to the methods determining the content set out in the GRI Standards Guide, including the principle of prioritization. Performance reports were presented mainly within the scope of the GRI Standards indicators. In addition, the principles of progress reporting of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), which TSKB conveyed its commitment to in 2010, were also taken into consideration.

Stakeholder analysis taking into account in strategic priorities.

The report also includes a prioritization matrix based on the results of the stakeholder analysis conducted by the TSKB Sustainability Consultancy - Escarus. Accordingly, TSKB approaches the country's qualified development from a Sustainability and Responsible Banking perspective and underlines that it is developing in harmony with all its stakeholders.

The Bank is constantly in touch with the stakeholder groups and communicates with its stakeholders through various communication platforms. TSKB attaches tremendous importance to ensuring a sustainable dialogue with its stakeholders and uses the feedback that it receives from its stakeholders as a valuable and guiding input in many subjects and areas such as setting strategic priorities, establishing policies, designing a business model, and developing social responsibility projects.
