TSKB signed a US$ 220 million limited mudaraba agreement with the Islamic Development Bank

TSKB receives a $220 million funding from the Islamic Development Bank under the guarantorship of the Republic of Turkey Prime Ministry Undersecretariat of Treasury to finance renewable energy and energy efficiency investments.

CEO of TSKB Özcan Türkakın said, “As TSKB, we have a significant experience in renewable energy and energy efficiency fields with approximately 100 renewable energy and 60 energy efficiency projects we financed to date. With this funding received from the Islamic Development Bank, we will continue in 2014 to support the investments to meet the energy need of our country from renewable resources and decrease the energy density of the industrial facilities.”
