World Bank "Türkiye Accelerating the Market Transition for Distributed Energy Project" Notice of Independent Verification Agent (IVA)
TSKB (Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası A.Ş.) and TKYB (Türkiye Kalkınma ve Yatırım Bankası A.Ş.) signed “Türkiye Accelerating the Market Transition for Distributed Energy” Project with the World Bank. With this Project, the Program-for-Results (PforR) will be implemented first time in Türkiye and it is aimed to support distributed solar photovoltaic investments for electricity production to meet the internal consumption needs of private sector and battery electricity storage systems.
Within the scope of the Project, EUR 300 million loan from IBRD, USD 15 million loan from the Clean Technology Fund (CTF) through IBRD and USD 1,5 million grant from the Energy Sector Management Assistance Program (ESMAP) have been provided to TSKB and TKYB, respectively.
The disbursements will be made through independent verification of the achievement of Disbursement Linked Indicators (DLIs) and their corresponding Disbursement Linked Results (DLRs) which are determined by World Bank.
For this Program, verification for all DLIs and their corresponding DLRs is to be carried out by the Independent Verification Agent (IVA). The IVA will provide accurate assessments and reports regarding the realization of DLIs.
Interested consultants are invited to submit their Expression of Interests by 12 July 2024.
