TSKB signs a Syndicated Loan Agreement for USD 135 million

Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası A.Ş. (Industrial Development Bank of Turkey-TSKB) signed a dual- tranche club term loan facilities agreement for an amount of USD 135 million.

Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası A.Ş. (TSKB) signed a dual- tranche club term loan facilities agreement amounting USD 135 million on July 8, 2014 in Istanbul with the the participation of 13 banks from 8 different countries including both TSKB’s core relationship banks and 5 new participants. .Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft acted as Coordinator and Documentation Agent. Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Luxembourg Branch is Facility Agent for the Facilities.

TSKB has successfully rolled the previous year’s Facilities with the participation of BayernLB, Citibank, Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, ING, Standard Chartered Bank, Credit Suisse AG, Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. London Branch, Banka Kombëtare Tregtare Sh.a., Oyak Anker Bank GmbH, Barclays Bank PLC, BNP Paribas, UniCredit Bank AG and WGZ BANK AG Westdeutsche Genossenschafts-Zentralbank.

Commenting on the matter after the signing ceremony, TSKB’s General Manager Özcan Türkakın said, "In line with TSKB's sustainable relations with international financial institutions, we are pleased to say that including our Strategic Partners we have the participation of 5 new banks to this year’s Facilities which we see as a sign of value they have entrusted in TSKB.. The loan agreement, supported in this way with wide participation, is not only evidence of TSKB's reputation in international markets but may also be considered an indication of the trust in the Turkish financial system and its banking sector."
