1.PURPOSE AND SCOPE

Türkiye Sınai Kalkınma Bankası A.Ş. (“TSKB” or “the Bank”) cares about the protection of your fundamental rights and freedoms, especially the privacy of your private life, and within this scope, we take maximum security measures to ensure the confidentiality and security of your data.

This Disclosure Text covers the categorical basis of personal data, which are processed by ourselves within the scope of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”), their collection methods, the legal reasons and purposes of their processing, transfer and transfer purposes, and the rights of the real person owners of the data. It was prepared for informative purposes in the interests of transparency.

3.CATEGORIES OF PERSONAL DATA PROCESSED

The categories of personal data processed in the banking activities and the processes carried out by our Bank are as follows: Identity Information, Contact Information, Professional Experience Information, Audio-Visual Records, Marketing Information and Member Association/Foundation Information.

4. METHODS OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA AND LEGAL REASONS

Your personal data is collected in physical or electronic media through all kinds of verbal, written, audio and visual communication, fully or partially automatic or non-automatic methods, provided that it is a part of any data recording system.

Accordingly, your personal data is obtained and collected through more than one channel and method, including (i) conversations and communication held at the TSKB Head Office and branches or online (ii) subscribtions to TSKB broadcasts, if any (iii) voice communication, (iv) written communication by e-mail and fax (v) the EMIS (Emerging Market Information Service) platform, the S&P Capital IQ platform, news published in newspapers and magazines, websites, lists of chambers of industry and commerce, (vi) social media platforms, (vii) mutual communication at industry events and invitations, (viii) business partners with whom the Bank has a contractual relationship, (ix) if the data is made public by yourself.

Your personal data is collected by our Bank based on the following legal reasons.

  • When it is mandatory for establishment, exercise or protection of a right
  • Processing of data is necessary for the legitimate interests of the Bank, provided that this processing shall not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.
  • Where there is explicit consent,
  • It is made public by the related persons themselves.

5.PURPOSE AND LEGAL REASON OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA

We process your personal data in connection with and for reasons limited to the stated purposes, based on the processing conditions (legal reason) specified in Articles 5 of the KVKK to ensure the realization of the purpose.

6. TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA AND PURPOSE OF IT

Your personal data, listed below categorically, is transferred to the following institutions, organizations, authorities and individuals residing in Türkiye in accordance with Articles 8 of the KVKK, which regulates personal data transfer, as limited to the stated purpose of transfer and to the extent that it fulfills the purpose.

Accordingly, your personal data may be recorded, stored, preserved, rearranged, disclosed, transferred, inherited, classified, processed by the third parties, to which your data is transferred, provided they comply with the KVKK.

7. RIGHTS OF THE PERSONAL DATA OWNER

In order to exercise your rights regulated by Article 11 of the KVKK, you may apply to the Data Controller through the following methods, provided that you comply with the procedure specified in Article 5/2 of the Communiqué on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller published in Issue 30356 of the Official Gazette dated 10 March 2018.
