TSKB was the only financial institution from Turkey to participate in the Young SDG Innovators Programme (YSIP/Young SDG Innovators) organized by the UN Global Compact for the first time globally. Young employees under the age of 35 from member companies represented their institutions at the programme. Led by Yetkin Kesler, Executive Vice President, the project team included İpekZekey, Eren Soydal and Alara Karacabeyli.

The programme lasted for about 10 months, during which the participating companies aimed to develop a solution to a sustainability-oriented problem of their own choosing by using the SDGs as a leverage.

Since September 2019, when the programme was launched, 5 innovation camps have been organized at different stages of the process (defining a problem, creating a solution, testing the solution).

The global closing of the programme took place at the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit, which was held on June 15-16, 2020 through an uninterrupted online broadcast of over 26 hours. During the closing ceremony at the Leaders Summit, companies represented their countries and presented the solutions they developed under the YSIP process. TSKB team delivered a presentation at the Leaders Summit, thus successfully representing our country and the Bank.
