TSKB Announces New Appointments
As part of the recent organizational restructuring at TSKB (Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye), appointments have been made for directors, coordinators, and managers effective from February 1, 2024. Alongside organizational adjustments, TSKB has established the “Climate Change and Sustainability Management Directorate” to centralize and streamline sustainability initiatives previously managed across various working groups within the Bank.
Continuing to perform its activities in the light of a qualified development vision, TSKB (Industrial Development Bank of Türkiye) has made changes in its organizational structure for the new period. The promotions and appointments announced by the Bank’s Board of Directors came into effect on February 1, 2024.
TSKB welcomes two new directors
As part of the promotions and appointments in TSKB’s new organizational structure, Melis Sökmen has been promoted to Director, overseeing the Human Resources Department and Corporate Communications Department. Sökmen graduated from Marmara University’s Faculty of Communication in 2002 and later pursued her master’s degree at İstanbul University’s Faculty of Communication. Sökmen started her career in the media sector in 2002 and after gaining experience in marketing, she joined TSKB in 2008 in the Corporate Communications department. Over the years, she moved to Talent Management through internal transfer and has served as TSKB Human Resources Manager since 2018. Sökmen continues to work on change management, organizational development, career architecture, corporate culture, in-house coaching, inter-team collaboration and intergenerational communication.
Burç Boztunç has been appointed as the Director of the Treasury Department. In 2004, Boztunç graduated from Boğaziçi University with a degree in Economics and later completed his master’s degree in Finance at İstanbul University. In 2005, Boztunç began his career as an Assistant Specialist in the Treasury Department of the Bank. Over the years, he served in various managerial positions within the Treasury Department before assuming the role of Treasury Manager in 2017. As of February 1, 2024, Boztunç continues to serve as the Director overseeing the Treasury Department.
New appointments and promotions at TSKB
Simay Kimyacı has been appointed as Coordinator to oversee the Internal Control Department, Risk Management Department, and Corporate Compliance Department. Aslıhan Toraman has been appointed as the Internal Control Manager, Orhan Atbaş as the Corporate Banking Sales Manager, Yasemin Mandacı Uçak as the Human Resources Manager, and Duygu Yapıcıoğlu as the Treasury Manager.
TSKB establishes Climate Change and Sustainability Management Department
Recognized for its pioneering initiatives in sustainability, TSKB has undertaken a new restructuring in this field. The TSKB Climate Change and Sustainability Management Directorate was established to centrally manage sustainability efforts that have been ongoing for many years across various departments within the Bank. Çağla Eker Altınkulp has been appointed as Manager of the TSKB Climate Change and Sustainability Management Department.
